Ben practices principally in engineering and engineering-adjacent technologies. His clients come from industries including agriculture, automotive, chemical processing, construction, electronics & electromechanical devices, food & beverage, hydraulics, materials handling, manufacturing, medical technologies, mining, oil & gas, solar and transportation.
Ben graduated with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with 1st Class Honours and a Bachelor of Commerce, from Monash University in 2001. After university Ben worked as an engineer for 5 years gaining experience in a wide range of manufacturing processes before joining a national patent & trade mark attorney firm in early 2006. He completed his Masters in Intellectual Property Law at the University of Melbourne and registered as a patent attorney in 2008.
